“Spring Bouquet” began life as a vintage table cloth. I have not information as to the maker or time when it was made.
I really like using the Hani Quilter Micro foot for out lining and micro quilting around appliques and embroider designs. A closer look at the Hani Quilter Micro foot. I decided that the design needed some micro quilting to make the feathers and other designs “pop” I quilted small pearls to flatten down the areas around the designs. The center of the table cloth before the pearling. The outer circle is a stencil by Cindy Needham. She has wonderful stencils! Here is a close up of the Banana Feathers. Stencil is from the stencil company. I really love the background which is another great stencil by Cindy Needham which can be found in her background fill collection. A LOT of marking was needed! I chose to use the blue erasable pins. I tried other makers on the back side put this was the only one that worked on the linen fabric.

You can erase the blue lines from these pens with cold water but I prefer to use the blue line eraser that can be ordered on amazon. With these pin you must be carful to not expose the ink to heat or the markings will become permanent.
