Remembering a life of service……………….

I was able to make a Dresdin Plate for all three quilts from the husbands ties, shirts and jump suite.
The patches were removed from the uniforms or given to me separately so I made a collage out of them.
I needed another block and chose to use shirts for this unique block.
The family loved the Dresden Plates in the quilts. It is a great way to put a small amount of clothing into numerous quilts.
This husband retired from the Airforce after 30+ years so I put the Airforce seal and put it in the corner stones.
This was an arrow from a sash for his service to the boys in the Boy Scouts.
Here are patches from his Boy Scout uniforms. He was a leader for 20+ years.
Husband was an ATM graduate and gave to his community in many ways to include Meals on Wheels for many years.
Securing the patches!
